Ecotach® Fasteners
Ecotach is a portfolio of economically recycled tagging fasteners that can help brand owners and retailers to achieve their sustainability goals. Our fasteners have been tested by independent third-party companies to validate our commitment to sustainability.
These fasteners use 100% or 95% recycled polypropylene (rPP) derived from single-use take-out containers. The environmental benefits created by using these tagging fasteners can be impactful.
An outer container of 100% rPP fasteners reduces the landfill by 9.18 lbs. (4.16kg) of plastic take-out containers annually
Customers using over 100 million of 100% rPP fasteners annually can reduce the landfill load by as much as 10,860 lbs. (4,926kg) of plastic take-out containers annually.
Brands and retailers can utilize existing tools to apply these new recycled fasteners. The rPP fasteners are designed to maximize our recycled content while maintaining the product performance customers need. The fasteners meet the same specifications as our virgin fasteners, including our production parameters. Maintaining the same production processes ensures that customers can get all the benefits of using recycled content without any carbon emission increase in production.
